Art Lessons - Classes will be available in 2018

I chose “The Birth of Venus” by Sandro Botticelli as a symbol for the intent of this website, as Sandro loved and respected the natural environment, but he also thought art should convey a deeper meaning into his works, they were not just pretty or attractive pictures to hang on the wall but conveyed a respect for the feminine but also life itself. He observed life and made statements to awaken people and make them think, this is also my intent.

It is my belief that we as the human race are more than seen by looking at the turmoil and hatred in the world around us, we are greater than is presently shown if we can be awakened to the true beauty and uniqueness of life, if somehow we can awaken each other to the mystical, magical wonder and goodness of life.

Art can do that, open doorways to see the world in new ways, to appreciate and love all of creation so much so that love can be infectious, it can lift up and heal people and it is with this in mind I would like to create an Art School where people of all ages can be encouraged to find their skills and have these developed to the level they feel they have achieved some success, but also joy. There is nothing like creativity, of tapping into higer inspiration and creating works which can bring both the artist and viewer growth, and a new perspective on life.

In 2018 I will be offering workshops/ classes in a peaceful beautiful setting near Cobargo NSW, but I am open to holding classes in groups etc elsewhere, so if you are interested in lessons watch the lessons link for more information.
